In 2017, Admiral Security Services expanded beyond its Washington, DC roots into the State of Texas under the brand name ADM Security Solutions. This expansion stemmed from existing customers seeking consistency across their locations as well as those who wanted a new option outside of the security providers who have long dominated the local market.

For all new markets we enter, the ADMIRAL ADVANTAGE is our beacon for success. This, along with the deep resources of our privately held company established in 1976 and a very disciplined new market start-up plan, ensures we’re bringing the same consistent service to each new customer.

ADM Texas Leadership Team

Michael Ashlock
Division Vice President-Texas – ADM Security Solutions​

Michael Ashlock joined ADM Security Solutions as the Division Vice President for Texas in September of 2023.  Before joining the ADM Security team Michael started his career as a Police Officer in Dallas County where he supervised the tactical operations team.  He transitioned into the private security industry working as an investigator for a major communications company in North Texas.  He was then promoted to Senior Manager of Security Operations for Texas where he planned, developed, and implemented security programs and strategies for the market. Michael entered the contract security industry working for a global security company as a Director of Operations. He was later promoted to General Manager of a branch overseeing a large portfolio of business.  Michael obtained his bachelor’s degree from Midwestern State University.  He graduated magna cum laude and was a member of the Alpha Chi Honor Society.

Charles Kellis
Branch Manager-Dallas Fort Worth Region

Charles began his security career in 1987 as a Security Officer and Account Manager prior to pursuing a career in law enforcement. After earning his Master Police Officer Certification, TECLEOSE Instructors Certification and serving in multiple rolls from patrol officer, field training officer, Sergeant, and City Marshal he founded his own professional security services company in 2002 which was later acquired by ADM Security Solutions in 2019. Charles has a tremendous presence in the Texas market serving as EVP, Legislative Liaison and President for the Associated Security and Investigation Services of Texas (ASSIST), as a member of ASIS, a member of the Texas Municipal Police Association (TMPA), BOMA Dallas, BOMA Ft. Worth and BOMA Texas and BOMA International, where he serves on multiple committees including Government Affairs, Education, Allied Council and Networking.

Kati Bush
Director of Business Development

Kati is responsible developing new business and fostering existing customer relationships within the ADM Texas market. Her entire career has been anchored in customer relations prior to joining Texas based Viper Security and Investigation in 2014. Kati was instrumental in the development of the local Viper Security portfolio which lead to their acquisition by ADM Security solutions in 2019. Kati now continues her career as Business Development Manager with ADM Security Solutions.
