Our company history began in the 1960’s with Red Coats, Inc. Red Coats Inc. is a District of Columbia corporation, founded in 1960 by Barbara K. Peel, and William F. Peel. Admiral corporate headquarters is located in Bethesda, Maryland and continues to grow responsibly under the leadership of Executive Vice President George Vincent.

For over four decades, Admiral has continued to expand throughout the east coast, anchoring its position as the leading security partner in the Greater Washington D.C. market. In 2018, Admiral acquired Sterling Protective Services and expanded into Texas, under the brand name, ADM Security Solutions.

Today, Admiral services hundreds of locations nationally, provides security coverage to millions of square feet of public and private facilities, and we have grown to become one of the top 10 largest security companies in the United States.

We service customers in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, New Jersey, Delaware, Alabama, Illinois, California, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Texas.
